BIO
Comprised of newcomers Leo Brooks and Andrew Millsaps, Neon Union is a duo preparing to take country music by storm. Brooks grew up in Miami and has collaborated with artists like Pitbull, Lauryn Hill, Jennifer Lopez, Mary J. Blige, Cee Lo Green, and John Legend. Millsaps grew up in North Carolina and has been writing songs since the age of 13. When the two were introduced, they knew instantly that their sound and musical styles would combine to create the perfect duo.
Together as Neon Union, Brooks and Millsaps are bringing a new sound to country music, with 808 kick drums married to a traditional country lyric and anthemic pop melodies. Since signing with Jay DeMarcus’ Red Street Records in 2022, Neon Union has earned their first ACM nomination for New Duo/Group of the Year, been named Billboard’s Rookie of the Month, earned performance slots with the ACMs and CMA Fest, and have opened for musical acts like HARDY, Scotty McCreery, and Pitbull. The duo released their debut EP Double Wide Castle Sessions following their debut charted single, “Bout Damn Time.”
Neon Union’s 2025 debut LP Good Years bundles previously released fan-favorites like “Alright Where She Left Me,” “How Ya Don’t” and the band’s debut charted single, “‘Bout Damn Time,” with brand-new cuts like “Clean Hands” and “Fall For Me” that are sure to be on repeat. With production credited to award-winning producers Dann Huff and Jay DeMarcus along with a nod from Brandon Hood, the undeniable Neon Union sound full of expert musicianship and unrivaled lyricism is easily felt throughout the entirety of the project. “What an incredible experience it’s been bringing this project to life,” shares DeMarcus. “The talent that Andrew (Millsaps) and Leo (Brooks) bring to the table is beyond compare. I can’t wait for country music listeners to get their hands on Good Years!”
